On Friday morning we had CSA's first media day, to create awareness in the press of the World Champs!It was a beautiful clear winter's morning, which meant it was a bit chilly too... but the team was determined that SA gets a taste of what sprinting's all about. We had both K2 crews and the K4 on the water. The 
cameras loved it, one photographer got really involved and jumped in the back of the K4 to get some real action shots. Fortunately there was no swimming. After strutting their stuff we then we moved inside the club house for some QandAs. The media had the opportunity to ask board members, athletes and team management questions ranging from the nature of paddling in general, to the specifics of international sprint racing. It was great to have this opportunity for everyone to really express what happens in their various felids. All in all, it was a great day! Thank you to Marc Cloete from SA Paddler for organising!
